Khimji Ramdas – Bright Sparks

Nikon has been a long time supplier of NASA with photo equipment, which can endure the harsh and demanding environment of space. It has recently received an order from (NASA) of the USA, for a host of photographic equipment, including D2XS digital SLR cameras, Nikkor lenses, and accessories to be used for recording the crew’s activities both in and out of the space shuttle.
What is interesting, that the NASA order specifically comprises of 76 D2XS digital SLR cameras, where except for a change to NASA-specified lubricants, the D2XS models to be used are almost identical to those commercially available on the market. The D2XS, is the high-end model in the Nikon digital SLR line.
