In the august presence of H.E. Sheikh Humaid Bin Ali Bin Sultan Al-Mani, Ambassador of Sultanate of Oman to India, Khimji Ramdas (KR) commenced its operations in India, for international distribution of consumer brands with its first such partnership with P&G. The business venture has been set up under the banner of Khimji Ramdas India Pvt. Ltd. The inauguration took place in Okhla Industrial Area, New Delhi, on June 23, 2009.

Presently, KR will cover the two prestigious territories of South & East Delhi, in the capital city of India. With employee strength of over 300, managing the Delhi operations, KR will bring to the fore its long and deep experience of working in Oman, to now support P& G brands like Tide, Ariel, Olay, Pampers, Pringles, Gillette, Whisper, Head & Shoulders, Duracell and many more in the designated areas.

CREAMY COCONUT COFFEE

 

TO FEEL LIKE YOU ARE ON A TROPICAL ISLAND, ENJOY THE EXTRA-EXOTIC CREAMY COCONUT COFFEE WITH COCONUT PYRAMIDS

Gourmet Coffees – From Morning… Until Evening (ENJOY)

Preparation Time for 1 Cup: 5 Minutes

Ingredients needed for the Recipe:

1 Large mug of Coffee                                   10 CL whipping cream

8 cl of coconut cream                                     1 packet of vanilla sugar

1 tbsp of sugar syrup                                      Coconut shavings for decoration

 

WHOOP IT UP:

Step 1: Whip the cream, adding the vanilla sugar.

Step 2: Pour coffee, coconut milk, and sugar syrup into a blender to obtain a frothy mixure.

Step 3: Pour the mixture into a cup or bowl.

Step 4: Cover the drink with vanilla whipped cream, and decorate it with the coconut shavings.

 

Tip to Tip:

You may replace the vanilla sugar with vanilla extract.

Coconut cream is preferable to coconut milk. The cream goes better with sweet beverages, and will make the coffee creamier.

 

AND FOR THE COCONUT PYRAMIDS RECIPE … Here it goes!

Mix 2 eggs with 150 g of franulated sugar. Next, add 250 g of shredded coconut.

Mix using a spatula. Make little peak shaped mounds on a baking tray, and bake for 15 minutes at 180 *C.

 

TING TING TING ….. LET’S GET THE COCONUT COFFEE PARTY STARTED :)

In 1790, Royal Copenhagen brought out its now famous Flora Danica, The world’s most prestigious dinnerware, and one of the last luxury services still in existence from the 18th century.

To this very day Flora Danica is still moulded and painted by hand as it was more than 200 years ago. Its elite clientele includes the likes of Elton John, Celine Dion and the European Royal family.

For the records, of the 1,802 pieces of the original Flora Danica service delivered in 1803, 1,530 survive to the present day. Part of this service still graces the royal table of Queen Margrethe II on state occasions at Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen.

Did you know… The brushes used by porcelain painters are made from the hairs at the tip of a cow’s ears or alternatively the hairs from a reindeer’s stomach. These hairs have a special hard-wearing quality that ordinary brush hairs cannot match. With thousands of delicate brushstrokes for each piece, subtle airbrush effects and well-calibrated sponge applications, the decorators and painters turn each object into a unique masterpiece.
