History was made when Cunard’s flagship RMS Queen Mary 2, reached the port of Muscat, Oman. The largest, longest, tallest, widest and most expensive liner ever built made her maiden call to Muscat on 26th day of January 2010.

RMS Queen Mary 2 fascinated the façade of Quarnish with its grandiose presence. From the time since she entered service, Queen Mary 2 has been making headlines. She has been a crowd-puller at every port she has visited for the first time; Muscat was not an exception.

Oman was one of her destinations in the world voyage of 101 days. This is the first time a ship of this voluminous proportion entered the port of Oman.

Queen Mary 2 will be the largest Cruise vessel to Call Port Sultan Qaboos. Queen Mary2 occupied two berths compared to a normal ship which occupies only one. The length of the ship is 340 meters and the maximum radius at the port is 300 meters. She made it.
