KR has been working with the Muscat Youth Summit ever since its inception almost 5 years ago; whichis now incorporated as an initiative under the Public Authority for Investment promotion and Export Development (PAIPED).
Last year as a follow up to the Summit KR interned 3 youth during the summer as a CSR Activity, who were exposed to the corporate culture and working of 3 departments at the Khimji Ramdas Head office.
This initiative is seen to go a long way in building the skills of the youth and orient them towards job productivity and employability.
On Feb 11, 2014, PAIPED launched itself with a new identity, called ITHRAA, meaning Enrichment in Arabic, a fitting brand name to an organisation that aims to create wealth by enhancing Oman’s competitiveness and paving the way for the country to become a leader in the Innovation Economy.
KR wishes ITHRAA / PAIPED all success under the visionary guidance of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said and the immediate leadership of HH Faisal bin Turki bin Said and believes in its commitment to being recognised on a global scale as the economic development engine driving the export of non-oil Omani products and attracting strategic investment to the Sultanate
