Pizza Hut conducts Workplace Safety Training

Pizza Hut Oman recently organized an in-depth training program on workplace safety for its line managers in association with the Public Authority
For Social Insurance (PASI).

During the session, participants were detailed on various safety concerns and common injuries at work place including identifying safety risks, preventing injury and post injury actions to be taken. 

Pizza Hut Oman conducts food safety training for its managers and supervisors

Recently Pizza Hut conducted food safety training for 73 of its managers and supervisors across Oman in three batches.

This training was conducted in association with the Ministry of Manpower at the Khimji Training Institute (KTI).

Managers and supervisors at Pizza Hut Oman are HACCP (The Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) certified.

Regular refresher training on personal hygiene and food safety are given to all employees at Pizza Hut in order to have a good understanding of the latest techniques in food safety management.

Managing Food Safety in 2011 seminar concludes

This 3rd consecutive Food Safety Seminar was organized in association with Muscat Municipality & Khimji Training Institute. International research award winner, Professor Chris Griffith delivered a riveting seminar on “Managing Food Safety in 2011- 5 Key things you should know” at Crowne Plaza Muscat.

Participants included senior officials and Food Inspectors from Muscat Municipality, Regional Municipalities, Participants from Star Hotels, Restaurants, Catering Companies, Training Institutes, Retailers and other professionals from Food and Beverage Industries.

Food safety seminar by Khimji Training Institute on March 02, 2011

KTI and Muscat Municipality will conduct a one day seminar on “Managing Food Safety in 2011- 5 Key things you should know” by Dr. Chris Griffith on 2nd March, 2011 at Crowne Plaza, Muscat.

International research award winner, Professor Chris Griffith from Cardiff School of Health Science, University of Wales Institute will be the key speaker for the day. He is also the Consultant & Trainer for Food Control Section of Dubai Municipality. This seminar will add value to all Hotels, Restaurants and Managers involved in food related industry. 

The highlight of the seminar will be on the increasing importance of managing food safety for the sustainability & profitability of the food related industries.  Professor Chris will also familiarize the audience with 5 key things one should know to manage food safety efficiently. This interactive seminar will be conducted for the 3rd consecutive time in association with Muscat Municipality.
